Before you hand over the keys, take one photo from each side of the car and one of the dashboard showing the mileage and fuel level. Your photos are time-stamped and saved with your rental as a record of the vehicle's condition at return. It takes about a minute.

Turn the car on so the dashboard lights up, then take one clear photo where both the mileage and the fuel level are readable.
