Immediate Assistance
If you are currently in an active rental and need help, contact XLane Rentals as soon as possible. Our support team can assist with vehicle access, rental questions, extensions, returns, and urgent rental-related issues.

Vehicle Breakdown
If the vehicle becomes disabled or unsafe to drive:
- Move to a safe location if possible.
- Turn on hazard lights.
- Do not continue driving if the vehicle may be unsafe.
- Contact XLane Rentals immediately.

Accident Reporting
If you are involved in an accident:
- Make sure everyone is safe.
- NEVER admit fault at the scene without speaking with our team.
- Take as many photos as possible of all vehicles involved before they are moved, when safe to do so.
- Photograph the other vehicle from multiple angles, including all visible damage.
- Capture clear photos of the other vehicle's license plate, registration, VIN, and the driver's license and insurance ID card.
- Take photos of the accident scene, road conditions, traffic signs, skid marks, and any other relevant details.
- Notify XLane Rentals immediately.
Important: Even if you believe the accident was not your fault, thorough documentation is critical. Photos of the other vehicle, its license plate, and the other driver's information may be necessary to establish responsibility and pursue recovery from the at-fault party. Failure to obtain sufficient documentation may make it difficult to recover damages from the responsible party.

Lockout Assistance
If you are locked out of the vehicle or having trouble accessing the vehicle, contact our support team. We will guide you through the next steps based on your reservation and vehicle access method.

Rental Extensions
Need more time? Contact XLane Rentals before your scheduled return time to request an extension. Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved before the rental period ends.

Security Deposit Questions
Security deposits are refunded 10 business days after the vehicle is returned. Before a deposit is released, the rental is reviewed for any outstanding items such as damages, tolls, tickets, fuel charges, or other pending rental-related charges. Once the review is complete, any eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.
